Kevin Garnett - Out Entire Playoffs? Time to Celebrate

Fantastic news from the most obnoxious franchise in the NBA was released this morning:  Kevin Garnett could miss the entire post season.  Rookies and skinny white guys across the NBA will be free from his 4th grade bullying for at least the rest of this season!  Plus, dogs throughout the neighborhoods can stop laughing at his awful impersonations.
Kevin Garnett isn't ready to start the playoffs, and Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers said Thursday that there's a strong possibility that he will miss the entire postseason.

"He's not going to be ready. After watching him practice, there's no way," Rivers said on WEEI-AM. "The way I saw him move today, I don't know if he'll be ready."

When asked to clarify, Rivers said there was a chance Garnett could be out for the rest of the season. Celtics spokesman Jeff Twiss said he could not elaborate on Rivers' comments.
Not many were counting the Celtics into making another championship run anyway, but this really ends those chances doesn't it?  Let's just hope  they get knocked out early so we won't be put through the pain of watching Paul Pierce in another wheel chair.

What crap man. Garnett is not a bully is an intense passionate basketball player with tremendous drive. Just because the Bulls put together a team akin to the likes of Jordan, Pippen, and Hodges, or the Lakers or Celtics of the 80s you want to start to hate. Just love the fact that Portland made the playoffs and be done with it you were lucky to get any games of Houston who I think could possibly hurt the Lakers seriously, they may not beat the Lakers but they will demoralise them mentally enough I think for Denver to be a real and present danger if not cause one of the greatest Western Conference upsets. I still believe that Denver could well play the Cavs in June and the Rockets will have a large influence on that occuring.

I also think that the very fact that you call him a bully because he hurts the Blazers' big men is testament to the fact that the Blazers' are a long way off from any of Garnett's or any other current Boston Celtics great heights. Give them 10 years and they remain together as a cohesive unit and I might just give them a chance.

About This Blog

This Portland Trail Blazers blog definitely isn't your basic "recap/report the news" kind of blog. We tend to lean a little to the sporadic and unsystematic side of this young and sexy basketball team. Oh, and you'll definitely see a lot of Blazer Dancer action around here, so bring your bucket of ice.
