Setting the Facts and an Apology to the Blazer Dancers

A week or so ago I posted a link to some personal pictures of a former Blazer Dancer.  At first for who knows what real reason, I thought it would be good entertainment for readers of the blog to at least have the opportunity to see these photos. (Idiot!)   Within the next couple of days I received a few emails from current and former BD's expressing their disappointment in the matter.  It became immediately apparent that posting the link to these pictures was a huge mistake and I quickly removed it.

Setting the facts...

One thing I do want to make clear is that I was not the person posting these pictures.  A completely different site that has no relationship with mine had posted them and I simply linked to that site.  I did NOT host the pictures, find them or spread them around the internet.  A "link" is a lot different then actually posting the pictures.  And like I just said, the link has been removed from this site as it was an incredibly inconsiderate move on my part.

Apology...

I want to completely apologize to the BD's as they are one of the major reasons that this blog has grown so quickly in its first few months.  Blazer fans love the entertainment you bring to the court each night while sometimes even providing as much excitement as the damn games do!  Plus, the overwhelming male audience could not do without you!

If I have offended/disappointed/annoyed/pissed off any of you then I am truly sorry.  Hopefully in the future I won't be sucked into the underworld of PhotoBucket which could potentially harm our, well, semi-non-existent, sort of MySpace'd, friendship which I thoroughly enjoy.

Love you ladies!  As do many, many fans and readers!

Did they expect any less from the top blazer porn site on the web?

Hahah. Now that's just not fair! Dancers are not porn!

Dude, not to be snarky or whatever, but Blazers fans are not "overwhelmingly male"--and neither are the crowds at the games. Weren't even when I was a kid in the 80s/90s. Not all of us in the audience heart their skeevy outfits/"dance" routines.

Just a little wordplay Sarah...sorry that it offended you as well. Just having fun! Let's all hug it out!

You should have kept the link to the nasty former Blazer Dancer on your website. If the dancers don't like it, tough. Let 'em act like ladies and there won't be any controversy.

About This Blog

This Portland Trail Blazers blog definitely isn't your basic "recap/report the news" kind of blog. We tend to lean a little to the sporadic and unsystematic side of this young and sexy basketball team. Oh, and you'll definitely see a lot of Blazer Dancer action around here, so bring your bucket of ice.
