Carmelo Anthony Out Tonight and Tomorrow!

The Denver Post has reported that superstar and cornrow-less Nugget, Carmelo Anthony is out for the next 3 games because of a lingering right elbow injury.  Good news for Portland seeing as they play Denver tonight and tomorrow night!
"That's the game-plan," Nuggets coach George Karl said, adding that Anthony may return Sunday at New York. "There could be circumstances and situations that make it longer - or shorter. But the doctors feel if it shuts down for three or four days, there should be significant improvement."

The all-star will miss tonight's game against division-rival Portland, Tuesday at Portland and Friday against Philadelphia. Portland and Denver are both 17-10 and tied atop the Northwest Division.
With or without Melo, these games should still be very competitive.  Denver is never an easy place to play especially with Chauncey Billups now running the show.

About This Blog

This Portland Trail Blazers blog definitely isn't your basic "recap/report the news" kind of blog. We tend to lean a little to the sporadic and unsystematic side of this young and sexy basketball team. Oh, and you'll definitely see a lot of Blazer Dancer action around here, so bring your bucket of ice.
