Is Paul Pierce Going to be OK?

After watching last night's game and seeing some of these photos from the battle between Portland and Boston, I'm hoping that Paul Pierce is OK. From the looks of things, he took the beating of his life! Have you ever seen so much pain in one man's face in so many photos?

I checked in with all the local hospitals in both Boston and Portland and it's pretty clear that he was not admitted at any time over night. And yes, I also mentioned they should check the maternity ward for recently born babies wearing headbands. Still nothing.

And then this morning, I realized that I had forgotten to check the police report for any missing wheel chairs! Sure enough, I came up empty handed again.

If anyone sees Paul anytime soon, please let him know that I was thinking about him and hope that all is well in 2009. :)
